To qualify for the National Gymsports Championships, athletes are required to reach a qualifying score at a GymSports New Zealand Sanctioned Qualifying competition. The below calendar lists the Qualifying Competitions taking place in 2012.

Please note that the Qualifying Period runs from the
1st of March 2012 to the 19th of August 2012.
