In terms of supporting the regions and clubs through the transition steps and making it as easy and straightforward as possible, GSNZ has drafted six Regional Transition Plans. Put simply, these are guides on what to do.
Ownership of the Regional Transition Plans belongs to both the current Regional Associations and the new Inaugural Regional Boards. Each plan outlines the work-streams and, where appropriate, the actual steps that regional members need to take in order to achieve the transition. Given the diverse nature of regional goals, activities, and role interpretation across the existing regional entities, there is a real need for the Plans to reflect regional difference and ownership. The Regional Transition Plan is partially prescriptive (i.e. around legal issues) however generally provides a framework for organising identified actions.
GymSports Officers will be available to guide and support regions through the transition phase.
