GSNZ STAFF APPOINTMENTS
Staff AnnouncementsGymSports New Zealand is pleased to announce three new appointments.Alana Cramond, Gymsport Officer, Greater AucklandAlana joins Christine Reed in this role during February. With a background in Rhythmic gymnastics, Alana is a trained school teacher from Hamilton. She has been a gymnast, coach and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from the sport and education environment. Helen Warburton, Gymsport Officer, Upper SouthHelen joined the Gymsport Officer team in March. She is experienced as an Artistic gymnastic coach and club administrator. Background as a scientist in Ecology, her meticulous attention to detail will be an asset in this role. Helen replaces Natalie Gabites who relocated to Auckland for a role at the National Office.Natalie Gabites, Membership Services ManagerA change in her role, Natalie took up the challenge to move up to Auckland for this position. Her experience and skills as a Gymsport Officer in Canterbury are valuable for this role. Natalie will be the managing the events and tours for GymSports New Zealand membership.Christine Reed, Gymsport officer for Greater Auckland will be on maternity leave from March 10th to June 23rd. Alana will be providing GSO services in Auckland during Christine's absence. We wish Chris and her husband well, and look forward to a safe delivery of a happy, healthy baby.

GYMSPORTS NEW ZEALAND FINAL TRANSITION REGULATIONS
Attached are a number of new Regulations in support of the new Constitution and Organisational Transformation Plan (OTP).These documents are the culmination of consultation with members and discussion at Board level and will be reviewed annually at appropriate points in the Board Annual Agenda Plan.

To accommodate the needs of our members and improve our customer service , GSNZ has recently upgraded its processing of merchandise orders. The stock is now held in an external warehouse and orders are processed via the national office for same day dispatch up to 2pm.

GymSports New Zealand is pleased to welcome and introduce Michelle Sommerville in the National Office Manager position. She has recently returned home to NZ after six years working in the UK. Michelle joins us with a wealth of experience in managing the needs of running an office, and the many people involved in the daily business of providing support services.

NEW GYMSPORTS OFFICER FOR WAIKATO BAY OF PLENTY & TARANAKI
Pam Walters is the new GymSports Officer for the central North Island.In November, Pam Walters joined the team of GymSports officers. She is responsible for the region covering areas from the Bay of Plenty, Waikato to Taranaki.

NZL JUDGES APPOINTED TO OLYMPIC GAMES
Congratulations Judges It is with great pleasure that I formally announce the Judges appointments for the Beijing Olympics and FIG test event. We are proud that both Avril Enslow and Stephen Kendall are at a standard and position of respect in the gymnastics community that they are invited to officiate at the 2008 Olympics. The Beijing Olympic position is an FIG appointment specific to Avril and Stephen and we congratulate them on this honour.

TRAMPOLINE WORLD AGE GROUP COMPETITION SUCCESS... ALMOST THERE
New Zealand Athlete just missed out on the medals. Gisborne trampolinist Ryan Besseling qualified in second place for the finals of the Double Mini Tramp for 15-16yrs Men at the 2007 World Age Group Competition in Quebec Canada.
